Precise positioning on any device

The Trimble R1 seamlessly integrates with your iOS or Android device, or with a classic data collection device or tablet, enabling much higher accuracy than your device could achieve on its own. It takes over the 'location services' of your device and provides it with an accurate GNSS position with an accuracy of up to 0.6–0.9 metres (sub-metre accuracy). This technology dramatically improves the accuracy and consistency of your current location, which significantly speeds up localisation and data handling.

The Trimble R1 receiver is capable of supporting multiple satellite constellations, including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou, providing a truly global positioning solution. To achieve sub-metre accuracy in real time, correction services such as SBAS/WAAS, Trimble RTX or VRS networks can be used.

Compatibility and flexibility

Trimble R1 is compatible with any program running on compatible devices (iOS, Android, WEHH and Windows 7 or higher). In addition, it works seamlessly with existing Trimble MGIS software, including TerraSync, TerraFlex and Positions for ArcPad/Mobile. By combining R1 with the Trimble TerraFlex application on your smart device, you get a complete low-cost mapping solution.
