Design and durability for field work

The TDC100 is designed for specialists collecting data in the field. It is a fully rugged handheld device with IP67 certification, which means protection against dust and water ingress. This makes it ready for all-day data collection in any environment and weather conditions. It features a 13.5cm (5.3-inch) Gorilla Glass display that is readable in direct sunlight and with polarised glasses. The replaceable battery (standard or extended capacity) ensures that you don't have to interrupt your work in the field for charging.

Precise GNSS reception and smart functions

This device offers better GNSS capabilities than a standard smartphone. The built-in GNSS receiver provides spatial GIS data with a positional accuracy of up to 2-5 metres in real time and supports GPS, GLONASS and Beidou constellations. It also utilises SBAS augmentation where available for even greater accuracy (up to 1.5 metres with SBAS). Thanks to the Android 6.0 ("Marshmallow") operating system, you can run mobile applications such as Trimble UnityTM, as well as third-party or custom corporate programs, downloaded from the Google Play store. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor with 2 GB SDRAM and 8 GB (Wi-Fi model) or 16 GB (4G model) flash memory, expandable via a MicroSDHC memory card slot.

Communication and multimedia capabilities

The Trimble TDC100 features an integrated high-resolution camera (13 MP for the 4G model and 8 MP for the Wi-Fi model) with flash and geotagging, allowing you to take vivid geotagged photos. Depending on the model, an integrated 4G modem is available for calls, SMS and data transfer, ensuring constant connection with the team and office. It also features Bluetooth® v4.0, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and NFC in the 4G model. The integrated speaker and microphone facilitate direct communication from the field. Effective communication minimises downtime and errors and eliminates the need for frequent trips back to the office
